Senior Application Engineer (fullstack)

As an application developer, you will be responsible for working closely with highly motivated and awesome application team to build full-stack, cutting edge technology products & features in an open source software environment, using a variety of technologies, including:

  • JavaScript (ES8 + Flow)
  • Electron, Node.js, Vue/Vuex, React Native
  • Golang
  • Docker, Ansible, Github, Travis

The perfect candidate for this job will have the desire to learn new things, work with new technologies, and enjoys taking initiative to solve complex problems.

Required skills

  • 3+ years of previous development experience
  • Good experience of the JavaScript language (particularly with ES6, Vue(x) and React)
  • Understanding of RESTful principles, best practices, and related technologies
  • Love for modern engineering: open source contributions, SOLID principles, Modularity, design patterns, etc.
  • Love for code quality; Write good clean code, capable of providing confidence in own work (with unit tests, TDD, etc). and participate in regular code reviews
  • Passionate about learning and encourage others to learn about the latest tech and new ways of doing and approaching problems
  • Highly self-motivated, ambitious, flexible, self-sufficient
  • Contributions to open-source projects or solve “Winter is coming” challenge https://github.com/MysteriumNetwork/winter-is-coming

Extra bonus points for:

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, coding standards, source control management, build processes, and collaborative development tools (e.g Github, Bash, Jira)
  • Working knowledge of other Javascript frameworks (Angular, AngularJS, Electron, React Native, etc)
  • Experience with desktop deployment automation architecture, design/migration and troubleshooting
  • Know-how in building mobile apps for IOS / Android
  • Knowledge of IP networking
  • Building product from ground zero
